Legendary Tech

Terms of use

Last updated July 7, 2026

Legendary Tech (legendarytech.io) is operated by Zachary Staines (Amaris Studio) in Australia. By using the site you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 to hold an account.

Your account

Keep your details accurate, keep your account to yourself, and pick a username that does not impersonate anyone. We may reclaim usernames and may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Your content

You own what you post. By posting notes, guides, photos, collections, ratings, or corrections you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example resizing or cropping images), publish, and display that content as part of operating and promoting Legendary Tech. The licence ends when you delete your content or account, except that content may persist in backups for up to 30 days.

Two carve-outs, because this is a shared database. Factual spec corrections you contribute become part of the device database and are licensed to us permanently, so the database stays accurate after you leave; they are retained without attribution. Your individual ratings are deleted with your account but survive inside anonymous aggregates, such as a device's average score and rating count.

Only upload photos you took or have the right to share, and attribute them accurately when they need it.

House rules

No infringing, unlawful, or harassing content. No spam or undisclosed promotion. No scraping or bulk extraction of the database or of other members' data. No interfering with the service or misrepresenting membership or badges.

Moderation

We may remove, edit, hide, or decline any content, and suspend or terminate accounts, at our discretion, with or without notice. We aim to be fair, but this is one person running a community site, not a court.

Copyright complaints

If you believe content on Legendary Tech infringes your copyright, email team@zacharystaines.com with the material's location, proof you hold the rights, and your contact details, and we will review and remove infringing material promptly. Repeat infringers lose their accounts. Counter-notices go to the same address.

The Skool community

You can optionally link a paid Skool community membership to display a badge and see member content. Badges reflect Skool's records; membership, billing, and refunds are handled entirely by Skool under Skool's own terms. Unlinking or deleting your account removes the linkage.

The database

Device specs are researched in good faith and corrected by the community, and they can still be wrong. Verify before you buy, sell, or open anything up. Links to YouTube, Skool, or shops are not endorsements. The site's design, code, and compiled database are ours; you get a personal, non-commercial right to use the site, not to republish the database.

Liability

The site is provided as is, without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be contracted out of. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. If something goes wrong, talk to us first: most things are fixable by email. Material changes to these terms will be noted on the changelog; continued use means acceptance.
